FAQs
Why is it free?
The Wild Tales project is driven by a personal commitment to wildlife conservation. Fauve manages the entire project on a volunteer basis, eliminating all labor costs. The core mission is to provide real support to NGOs and sanctuaries by offering visibility without impacting their operating budgets.
By making the books available for free in digital format and enabling them to be printed and distributed through crowdfunding, we ensure the resources reach those who need them most — especially in local communities with limited access to conservation education.
To sustain this model, Wildlife Revolution covers its operating costs through merchandising sales and donations. This approach ensures that wildlife conservation awareness remains accessible to all, regardless of financial means.
Why only a book a year?
The Wild Tales project is built on an immersive and high-quality approach. Currently, Fauve personally oversees every stage: from illustration and writing to web design, sponsorship research, and administrative management.
Focusing on just one project per year allows her to give her full attention to the partner NGO and ensure a comprehensive, high-standard book. It is a heartfelt commitment that takes time to truly reflect the reality of conservation on the ground. Of course, if the team grows in the future, Fauve would be delighted to increase the pace to support even more sanctuaries!
