Management of Exceptional Donations
-
As part of the crowdfunding campaigns organised to finance the printing of books, Wildlife Revolution is committed to transparent, ethical management in full accordance with donors’ intentions.
-
When the amount raised significantly exceeds the initial budget required for the printing and distribution of the book concerned, Wildlife Revolution considers this surplus to constitute an exceptional donation.
-
In such cases:
-
The donor(s) concerned will be contacted, whenever possible, in order to determine their wishes regarding the allocation of the excess funds.
-
Depending on the donor’s expressed preferences, the surplus may notably be used to: - finance the printing of additional copies of the book concerned, - support the creation and printing of books for future partnerships with other NGOs or sanctuaries engaged in animal conservation; - contribute to the development of new free educational content, strictly aligned with the mission of Wildlife Revolution.
-
In the absence of a response from the donor, or when the donor cannot be contacted, Wildlife Revolution commits to allocating excess funds exclusively to projects consistent with its educational and conservation mission, and in keeping with the original intent of the campaign.
-
The use of excess funds will be communicated in a detailed and publicly accessible manner on the Wildlife Revolution website.
Wildlife Revolution reserves the right to terminate the partnership or withdraw the book if the partner fails to comply with these terms or acts in contradiction to the organization’s values.
